In close collaboration with the wood instrustry’s officers, and our timber
contractors, our buyers select a diversity of stave quality logs, coming from the greatest French forests.
Our stave mills take these logs and proceed with their splitting.
Our commitment to quality:
• Our QSE policy verifies the superior quality of our products as well as our conformity to food grade standards in the production and repair of our barrels.
• Our PEFC certification shows our commitment in favour to the renewal and sustainable management of the forest.
Our profession comes from ancestral and artisanal savoir-faire which reveals itself with patience and precision.
In our wood yard, we age our staves in order to offer you a natural air-drying process, from long to extra-long.
This time represents a promise of quality which helps your wines and spirits throughout their maturation and ageing process.
Our expertise allows us to control every stage of production, including the natural air drying
process. Just like a winemaker would with grapes, we meticulously select our staves, in order to extract only the best.
Our traditional fire toasting allows us to create a special “bousinage” adapted for wines and spirits. A combination of temperature, duration and color ensure their consistency.
Each barrel of our collection combined with an harmonious toast will reveal the typicality of your wines and spirits, respecting their finesse and identity.
The highly technical nature of the cooper’s profession is a rare savoir-faire.
In response to technological advances, our coopers combine craft and innovation, pursuing excellence.
We share a passion, we speak the same language: respect for the raw materials, mastery of craftsmanship and share of knowledge.
This commitment is treasured by each of our staff members and contributes to the success of our cooperage. The experience of our coopers is an art which is passed on from generation to generation.
